Philadelphia - The Birthplace of American Innovation

Aside from being the birthplace of our nation, Philadelphia is also the birthplace of American innovation—from Ben Franklin’s groundbreaking scientific kite experiment to the city’s manufacturing boom at end of the Civil War and today’s leading-edge biomedical research and development. We want to honor the city’s location as an establishment of various American institutions and recognize the innovative thinking and steadfast spirit that went into paving the way for our country and future ideas to flourish.

The FLC is excited to bring the national meeting to a city where freedom is celebrated and innovation is encouraged by those who walk its historic, cobblestoned streets.
