Dick Paul has 40 years of R&D-related management experience after serving in the U.S. Air Force for 33 years and The Boeing Company for 7 years. In the Air Force, he spent his last 12 years in various science and technology (S&T) organizations, and concluded his career as commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory. At Boeing, Dick served as a vice president in Boeing’s centralized research and technology organization.
In addition to serving on the FLC NAC, Dick is a member of Army, Air Force, and National Science Foundation advisory boards related to science & technology, professional military education, and small business innovation research programs, respectively. He is a former chair of the Industrial Research Institute.
