Mr. Henry has 8 years of experience in technology transfer specializing in technology evaluation and patent licensing. He is currently a Technology Transfer Specialist with the Department of Veterans Affairs where he is responsible for technology transfer matters involving 14 academic affiliates and 23 VA research laboratories in the southeast. Before working at the VA, Mr. Henry was the intellectual property and commercialization lead at the U.S. Geological Survey. He is a former Army Captain having served in the infantry, and a Bronze Star recipient for actions during combat. Mr. Henry holds a B.S. in environmental engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point; a Masters in Public Administration and Public Policy from Virginia Tech; and a Masters in Business Administration from Temple University.
