Dress Code

What to Wear
We recommend, and most attendees opt for, business casual attire. You’ll be mainly seated during sessions and standing in between to mingle, view FLC award posters, and maybe meet a potential partner or two – so dress to impress and bring your networking A-game!

Awards Attire
The attire for the FLC awards reception, dinner, and ceremony is business formal.

What to Bring
Aside from your badge be sure to bring:

  • Business cards for networking
  • Your phone to participate in session surveys and polling through the meeting app
  • Any burning FLC or T2 questions you have
  • An open mind!

We’ll provide a tote bag for any materials you pick up during your time at the meeting.

What to Do in Philly

Looking to explore the City of Brotherly Love during meeting downtime? Here are a few sites and scenes we highly recommend!

  • The Liberty Bell – Also known as the international symbol of freedom. Be sure to snap a pic at this landmark spot. (N. 6th & Market Sts.)
  • Philly Cheesesteak – If you don’t eat one on your first visit, locals will know you’re a tourist. (Suggested stops: Pat’s, Geno’s, or Jim’s on South St.)
  • Independence National Historic Park – Tour Independence Hall, Congress Hall, and the National Constitution Center. (Tip: Plan ahead; tours fill up fast!) (1 N. Independence Mall)
  • LOVE Park –Visit Robert Indiana’s LOVE sculpture, a city landmark located northwest of City Hall! (1515 JFK Blvd.)
  • Reading Terminal Market – America’s oldest farmers’ market and a food-lovers dream – complete with over 30 restaurants featuring local and global cuisine, and open indoor seating. (12th and Arch Sts.)
  • Benjamin Franklin Parkway – Philly’s most artistic mile. Take in the culture and art at the Rodin Museum, Barnes Foundation, The Franklin Institute, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, among others!
  • Rocky Statue & “Rocky Steps” – Jog up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art just like Rocky and enjoy the amazing city views. (2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway)
  • City Hall – An architectural treasure and a stone’s throw from the Loews. Enjoy the beauty of the largest municipal building in the country from South Broad St.
  • Citizens Bank Park – Home of the Fightin’ Phils. Catch the Phillies vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks at home Tuesday, April 24 – Thursday, April 26!
  • Historic Philadelphia Bars – Self-proclaimed as America’s “Best Beer-Drinking City.” Unwind with a cold one at some favorite local pubs: City Tavern, M Restaurant, National Mechanics, Khyber Pass Pub, The Olde Bar, Dock Street Brewery.
